SanAir can assist in the development and implementation of custom sampling protocols for specific client requirements. These protocols can be used to test individual microbiological constituents or a combination thereof.

Viable air sample analysis includes qualitative and quantitative assessment of bacteria and fungi using Andersen impaction and filtration air sampling techniques. Reports include species and genus identifications, calculation values for colony-forming units per cubic lung of sampled air, as well as visual comparisons of indoor and outdoor microbial concentrations.

Total Air Analysis (Air O-Cell, Laro-100, Cyclex-d or Micro-5) is a quantitative and qualitative analysis of fungal spores using direct light microscopy. Reports include identification of the genus, calculation values for spore and particle concentrations per cubic meter of air sampled, and visual comparisons of indoor and outdoor microbial concentrations.

Direct Microscopy Analysis is a qualitative method of assessing fungi by using direct light microscopy. Tape preps, bulk material and contact plates may be used as samples. Reports can include species or genus identification.

Viable Bulk and Swab Analysis is a quantitative and qualitative analysis of bulk material and surfaces swab for fungal and bacterial content. Reports include species identification and calculation of colony-forming units per gram for bulk materials and per square inch for swab specimens.
